Kristi received her B.S. in Behavioral Sciences with a minor in Human Resource Management in 1997 from York College of Pennsylvania. She worked in nonprofit management, marketing, and public relations for 14 years while freelancing for local and national businesses as a writer. She received her MAEd in Educational Studies in October 2011 and splits her time between writing/consulting and advocating for children with disabilities and their families. She appreciates the importance of creating study materials that are easy to understand and interesting to read. She lives in State College with her husband and nine year-old daughter and enjoys photography, music, and reading.
